It depends on if they are Strikemaster Mora or Lazer Augers. The Lazers(Black) cut faster than the Moras (Blue). I don't have a Stirkemaster auger. I got a new 7" HT Arctic Express that cuts just great. My auger is comparable to the Lazer. both were modeled after the Nils Master blade design. I actually bought a Lazer blade guard for mine because the cover that came with mine would not stay on. I even got a new replacement one for free from HT and it still doesn't stay on very well. The Lazer guard was thicker plastic and fit perfect on my auger. :D I also have an old 5" Strikemaster Mora Auger sitting in my garage.
