Joel Sheltrown (E-mail Address: joelsheltrown@house.mi.gov) has been appointed chairman of the committee on Tourism, Outdoor Recreation and Natural Resources. He is the contact person to present our predator hunting issues. Please e-mail him and let him know what we as Michigan predator hunters want changed.
The issues I have been working on and seeking political support for:
1. End the restriction to prevent the use of centerfire rifles to take predators at night.
2. Eliminate the hunter orange requirement while predator/varmint hunting.
3. Allow the predator hunting from elevated platforms
