2nd Lake Fenton Outing done and over with!

Yep arm hurts from bring in all those fish... man what a day :D , i stil lhad fun drilling a lot of holes:lol: ...... It was fun.... I and my son has a great time...... although he said we need to fine a new lake :help: but we still had a great time

Right where base camp was set up there would have been a great gill/tip-up spot but we had the National Noise Making Circus there :lol: . I atleast caught two bass on tip-ups...

You don't like 15 kids running circles around you while you fish?:confused: It keeps the fish movin!!! :lol: You catch anything after you moved across the lake? Did ya stay long enough to catch the fireworks?

I had a good time. It was nice to get out on a new lake and meet some people.

Nice meeting you. Sorry I couldn't stay. I ended up with 3 keeper fish. Through back 4. Did a lot of walking and drilling holes. There is fish in that lake but I couldn't find them this time. See you around. Jim.

Nice meeting all of you! I walked all the way to that damn channel drilled 6 holes trying to find a good dept...Kept drilling in 5' of water or less:rant: . My minnow was going insane the whole time. Thats a good mid-day spot... And yea i did catch the fireworks..I actually stopped and watched, they were pretty good for some rich guy on that island:lol: . Yes, the fish are in there there just very tricky... Lake Fenton is one of the hardest lakes to ice fish IMO. It can produce like mad, or leave yea hangin':fish: .

Dang you even get to fish over there? We kept a lookout for you to be walkin back. You can pick up a Fish Lo-K-Tor from burksee for $45. That way you just put a little water on the ice and it will tell you how deep it is and even pick up little tear drops. Best ice fishing investment i've made this year.

Well even though not many fish caught I still had a great time with ibethetrout and my buddy James. We cooked some brauts on a little grill and had a few pop's and a lot of conversation:D . I also was able to pull a 16 inch pike up on my tip-up and released it. We watched the fireworks from the party and called it a day! Thanks to Deputy for putting together a fun day!!!
