What's the latest word out of Brandenburg and how well did the ice hold up after that wind last night. Looking to get out tomorrow. Thanks. Gotta find some action some where.;)

The ice looks fine out in front of my house and I didn't see any open water. The fishing seems to have slowed a bit. My cousin was out last Tuesday and didn't do very well. I haven't heard much after that with the wind. Someone posted here that they did good Wednesday again north of the pier.
I am most likely going to head out around Brandemberg myself tomorrow. If they are going to hit this weekend, tomorrow should be the day with a big front moving in Saturday night. If you decide to go out there let me know. It is easier to find fish with two people looking than by yourself.

Two young nurses? Me? My girlfriend would be pretty ticked if I told her about that DREAM! :lol: I remember the post though, but it was someone else and not I.
I don't have a radio, but one of those two-mile walkie-talkies. If I put that on 7 can we communicate? Are you on foot or on a 3-wheeler?

Hoofin' it JA. Pulling a Clam 5600 on a sled I built with ski's. I always tip the sled upright after setting up. Can see the dark ski's from a distance.

Well it is looking like I will have kids with me this weekend afterall. If Iget out or not is a coin flip. Call it in the air.....
If I can't get out til later I may just hit a canal or two to see if I can find some gills.

Ice was fine, no problems getting out a few quads out there no slush, all froze over. As far as the fishing,,,well,,, that's another story
went out 6 FOW,,, nothin,,, 8FOW,,, nothin, came in close, 5FOW,,,, nothin, we didnt even see anything,,, opps,,, misprint, hubby caught a dink on 2nd move,,, went back out to 2nd hole,,,, fish were comin in (dusk) nothin great, could have kept probably 6 but wouldnt have been proud to tell about em'.
I think we are heading out to the $3.00 parking on the weekday and $5.00 on weekend spot (HAHA)or maybe give cotton a try. Gonna be a short day though,,, birthday party,,,(don't they know it's ice fishin season when they have these parties?)haha

To the gentleman who offered to pull me and my sled out .......thanks. Next time I'll take you up on your offer. Hurtin tonight fella's.:( To the guy on the quad on his way in with his limit...... thanks for putting me in general area. Didn't hammer them but I got a good meal out of it. Still some hogs in there. :D Couple of good sportsmen. ;)
