A good friend of mine had one of his picture removed and was sent an e-mail said is wasn't appropriate for this form. What maid it not appropriate and who makes that desicion? Just because there wasn't a dead fish or anamal in it doesn't mean he wasn't proud of the picture. I didn't realize there were rules other than being ubseen and it wasn't. If you would rather P.M. answer thats fine but I would like an answer.

I was at a banquet last night with three other Michigan-sportsmen.com peole when he was telling us about it. I didn't hear who sent the e-mail but I checked his picture gallery and the picture is gone. I won't use name so no one will be embarrassed by this just want to know why it was removed. He was mad enough he pulled most of his picture and I don't think he will ever be back again.

I recieved a similar email form the site. It made mention of having a picture under the wrong category and will be put into the appropriate one.

I'll move this thread into the picture gallery questions. Perhaps we can get an answer for you

I had two or three of mine moved too because the first pictures posted didn't have as many catagorys and was seen e-mail but none were deleted. His was deleted. I don't care were you post this at but I due want an answer.

I was at the WIld Women of Washtenaw Outing this weekend and it was brought to my attention that someone here had removed a members picture from the site. It was a picture of someones granddaughter in a tulip bed. He was then sent an email that told him it was not appropriate. Who is in charge of the picture posting and why was is it deleted instead of moved? Why did the person who sent the email put it where it was suppsoed to go? if there wasn't another area to put it at that time it should have been left there or handled differently!!! We have lost a good member from the site!!!!:(

I noticed that there still hasn't been an answer to this problem...Last post was on Aril 27th. Why won't the person come forward and explain what happened so we can put this to rest and hopefully get the member back:confused:

I have talked this over with Shoeman (I think I'm not good with names) and I found out they moved the pictures and it maid him maid (the person who's picture they were) and he deleted them himself. Michigan-Sportsman didn't delete just moved them and said they weren't in the proper place.

Nobody has had thier pictures deleted. Perhaps I should change the wording of that message or not send it at all. All I have done is move a few pictures from one category to another one where I thought they might fit better. Some editorial work I guess. Think of what a mess it would be if I left Salmon pictures in the Walleye category for example.

Please diregard my posting everyone!!!!! The person who informed me must not have had the current information. They said they were also considering leaving the site if this was not cleared up. I did not want to have any more people leave the site. I was told that you had been ignored on this matter. I'm glad that things have been resolved. I will let the person know that way they will continue to be a member.

Thanks again Wormdunker & Steve

I posted a Picture of some Walleye and put them in the wrong category.

It was moved, and the e-mail I recieved was pretty clear and polite, and had a link to the new location. I thought it was more than an adequate solution to "MY" error.

Thank you knockoff, we try. I didn't think the message was rude or unclear either, but some people get angry when I have to move a picture or twol.

Someone gets that upset about a picture being moved they must live in a world that I want to be in. " I can't believe they moved my picture! That's absolutely the worst thing that's ever happened to me!" Waaaah

Good Grief!

How do you put up with this stuff Steve.
Be careful with your answer you wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings:D
