Hi all-- I am coming home from my tropical paradise on Saturday, it has been great here, I have been diving every day with numerous fish and even a sea turtle yesterday, but I am anxious to return to my home Lake St. Clair :D

I have read the recent reports and your weather doesnt seem too hard water friendly, more like slush city, I have the rain pats though as suggested by Joeker.

I am hoping to get out and join you guys, I will probably wait until the weekdays rather than Sunday, too much havoc on weekends.

I know this is the ice fishing forum, but I too agree with Slick-- I would like to get the boat out and into some jigging, first a few more good perch catches through the ice would be nice, then walleye season it is!!

Hopefully I can go out and find the perch again this weekend. It seems to have slowed down north of the point over to Brandenberg, so I may have to do some walking and get south of Gouilet Point and out in front of your place.

I am not sure if it is safe for me to access the lake from Salt river, there was a decent size jam forming at the mouth when I left, I need to check it out, if I cant --I will be hoofing it or trailering my ATV, shame to live so close and think I have to trailer to brandenberg, I think I would rather walk out.

hoping to go out during the week in the afternoons, I have to play nurse a few days so the mornings are out for me this week.:(
