MSU does have a sportfishing club. I was a member for a year back in 2001. Here is their website http://www.fw.msu.edu/orgs/spfish/ it is very outdated however.

The website really is outdated and has not been brought up to speed in several years.
The main thing that the MSU club does is promote sportfishing as a good thing and they try to promote it to young people, the kids in grade school and high school which is a good thing and needs to be supported. These kids are the same ones who are being targeted by PETA and other animal rights groups so we should help to encourage groups like the MSU club.

Wont be making it to this show....
I would love to go but to me it cost way to much for a family of 3 to get in.
$30 + parking is crazy.

I agree with fishcapades. We have gone every year for I don't know how long but a family of 5 and my son's friend just costs too much.

I worked it today, we are at booth #1226. It is getting expensive for sure. The crowd seem to be pretty big tonight for the big buck show.
On the ride home I see gas jumped another $.10. Everything is going up except wages.

I got down there about 7:30 pm, because John was getting swamped all by himself. The place was dead, and never really picked up. Seems the crowd got their fill and left a little early.
