What a slppy mess

Man is it sloppy out there. We got stuck several times yesterdy. conditions really deteriated some . It was a real pain. hope this frims it up a little even though we didget some snow off the top. fishing wasnt that good either. i was soaked when i got back in from the splashin and all the slush pies.

Well, I just checked the weather, and for the next few days the highs are only gonna get in the low 30's. Hopefully it should help out.

One way to stay dry is to put on the bottom half of a rain suit(pants) under your cold weather suit. Does two things. 1) Keeps you pretty dog gone dry. 2) Insulates against the damp and cold. Works for me.;)

Why wouldn't you put the rain suit on top of your gear? Seems you'd stay drier that way. Rather than having wet snow pants on top of you rain pants.

In this sloppy weather ........... your way would be the preferred method.
In the brutal weather the rain pants tend to get a little stiff on the outside.

Hell when its like this out I where waders, neoprene with 1000 gram thinsulate boot. Perferct for this mess. ;)

My snowmobile suit is waterproof. That worked good for me last night. Definately sloppy out there. It was starting to firm up a little tonight though.

there is about 4" of water up near the ladder. thank god for good boots.
saw afew fish at dark only got a couple . better luck next time
