new to snaring need help

I bought some snares and would appreciate a little advice, should I or would it help if I dye the snares? Yotes just knock em down or walk around them, figured it was the shiny parts of the cable, any help would be appreciated, thanks

Boil in bakring soda and let them sit in the sun for a few day's.it will give them a dull grey look.your going to have a hard time holding the yote's .I was able to hold them last year,but I was very lucky.this year my luck ran out,and the 2 yote's I snared both sliped out.4 1/4 loop size is just to big to hold them.
