Hello everyone,

I am sure it's pretty much a crapshoot right now, but I just wanted to hear from some of you as to how you did today and my best options for tomorrow out on LSC. I fished yesterday around 9 mile with no success. That option will not be there for me tomorrow, but any and all other public access sites are. I am taking a first timer out with me and would like to get into a few fish. I am leaning towards cotton rd, but I would try metro, crocker, ginos, sang, and even up towards brandenburg park. No matter how we do I'll post my report tomorrow evening. Will be heading out in the early morning hours!

later,

MDH

MDH,

I am heading out in a few to try my luck, but it is not looking to good in my eyes. I am not sure where I am going, but I will be in one of those places mentioned. I will post when I am done later to let you know where I am headed and how I did.

I went out for a couple of hours with nothing to speak of. I was dissappointed that is for sure. Tried conger bay were a buddy told me he did good this past weekend did not see anything. Went to the Venetian right after for a half hour and did not catch anything. not even a bite. Went to candles and talked to a couple of guys and they said they had a great morning picking up some nice fish between 7 and 10am but after that nothing.

I dunno, I am throwing everything at them. But I am going to try one more place tomorrow and see how that works out. If nothing then hopefully the fish will start turning on here with in the next couple of days.

But I can not wait to go back to Simcoe in a couple of weeks. :corkysm55

Lotta cars and shanties way out at Fairhaven, and they stayed all day!
Didn't fish...I can see them from my house.

Fished from 3pm-dark at cotton rd . Moved 4 times saw one perch that didn't even look at the bait. Caught a 3 pound bass and had to pull away from a 5-6 pound potential line breaker. Most of the guys I talked to had the same lack of success. I wouldn't recommend for Wednesday. They should be biting but where are they? Very scattered right now I guess it's hit or miss! Also saw the biggest mudpuppy I've ever seen 18-20 inches.

I think MDH is just rubbing it in that he's going out and I can't, again! I think I'm going to have to take off Friday just to get on this ice. It doesn't help that I'm taking 4 days off next week to go snowmobiling....

Only my second time out on the lake this year. Fished tonite about 1 mile straight out from Blue Water Bait from 5 pm until dark. Caught around 120 7inch to 9 inch fish. Kept enough for a couple of meals. At 5:15 it was like someone turned on the switch. My hole filled up with aggressive fish and stayed that way. Was using a chartreuse and orange spoon with an orange bead.

I think I am going to try ginos. If for nothing else to see what it is like out there. Is the water clear in that area? If we don't get into fish, we'll move mabye up to SANG. Who knows really. It'll be fun either way!

Nittany Doug, I know you would come if you could. Hopefully I'll find some fish so we can hit it on Friday.

Later!
