i bought a lazer mag xpress gas auger last year and the thing kept bogging down and didnt warm up good when cutting holes. i e-mailed strikemaster and they called me back within a couple days and said i had to replace the carb on it for a different one that runs the auger better and they would take care of it for me free of charge. he also told me to use it until the ice season is over and then send it in and they would take care of everything.the auger works great but it was running like the choke was on. he said they had about 400 problems with the 2005 models and found a better carb that run the power head better. he also said they are going phase out the 2 strokes and going with 4 stroke engines. he talk to me for about 45 minutes just bull crapping about the company and fishing. just thought i would let everyone know that strikemaster's customer service is great and was willing to fix the problem even if it was not in the warrenty period.

I had a problem with thier lazer 224. they took care of me very promptly. Good company.

Glad to hear the good reports. I just bought a Lazer Mag Friday, hopefully I won't have to use their customer service but that's great to hear they will stand behind their product.
