This is my first year of ice fishing more than once here and there so i dont really know that patterns of the fish during the cold water season. With this warm up will the fish be moving shallow again or will they still be hanging in the deeper water?

It's hard to tell. But generally whether they move shallow or stay deep, they'll be higher up in the water column. With the warm weather, the upper column warms just a little bit, and the melting snow and ice provides oxygen.

It's a bummer but look at it this way. The time between first ice and last ice only lasted about a day. That means fishing has been prime for basically the whole ice season!

This is my favorite time to ice fish. With all the open holes out there just run and gun. I find that as the temps go up the gills and crappies really become active. I take the vex and start checking open holes, when i see fish 2ft or more off bottom I drop a jig, pick up a few until they move then I move again.

I think I saw you out there on my way home. Could see a shanty from Ann Arbor Trail and Newburgh. Would have stopped on my way by, but had an appointment. Never did get out for lunch. Will be out there tomorrow, though.

I found them deep, 23' pretty much the deepsest in the lake. Bright light often pushes them deep, especially in clear water. Surface water is allways the coldest, around 33 degrees, water is heaviest at 39 degrees, so the deeper parts hold the warmer water under the ice. I'll post a pic of my catch under a new thread.
