Lake St. Helens

Has anyone ever done any good on Lake St. Helen during the winter? My father and I are heading up to Houghton Lake next week, but I have heard that st. helen may be better for panfish and its only like 20-30 minutes away. Any comments please.

Try giving Bluegills Bait and Tackle a call. They are a good bait shop in town. I unfortunately haven't been up yet but hopefully this coming weekend. Let me know how you do!
