Grand river ave..... If you know the area at all between brighton and howell... If coming from metro area take 96 west get off in Howell on grand river (can't rember #) but there is a car dealer right there... go to light make a right... you could fish off grand river ( left Public access ) or go down to the 2 nd light make a left and about 1 mile down on your left is the boat lunch ...... now for the bait shop good luck, Dick's in howell is going out of busn.... i was told the party store just after the boat lunch has wax worms, I also saw a sign in the window of midway party store said bait??? what not sure... that would be a left at light when getting of the h.w about 500 yrds down.... if I was you I would bring it with you

The Midwest Sport shop in Brighton has any bait you want and their prices are good and they're good folks to boot.
Its on the left if you're heading East on Grand River on the far side of town just past the light at Old 23.
Their number is: 810-227-3141

If you have a GPS and would like the waypoints for the ramp and the bait store (Midwest) I have them. Let me know and I'll get my GPS in from the truck. Let us know how you did!:)

Went straight out from the launch. Fished 20-30 fow on the opposite side of the lake and got nothing. Marked a few. Then later in the day went closer to the launch in 28 fow and caught 10 palm sized gills.

The last couple of years have been pretty quiet on the ice there. Not to say that there are some good days but I haven't herd much.
