We have a group of 12 heading up to Skegemog lake this weekend to do a little drinkin'.................uh, I mean fishing!

Any reports from the area would be appreciated.

be prepared to move around. Seems like every time I fish that lake I catch a ton of small perch. Once in a blue moon you can get into a school of sizeable ones but not often. Lake has been frozen solid for quite a while, you should be all set. Just stop in at Jacks in Kalkaska and get the most recent data on the bite.

I needed a name of a place to get bait. Someone else told me about a place called "Crossroads" (or was that the place that smells like bait?)

Anywho, we'll be heading out of the launch off of Baggs road. Is that were you went out from??

I have never caught a decent perch on skegemog, just hundreds of dinks.

Forget Crossroads(unless you like wrinkles) for the fun, hit Fantasies in T.C. for that.

My Grandpa and his friend went out last Saturday and got tons of dinks.
