Ok I registered at archerytalk.com about a week ago. I am still not able to post anything on that site. I have a broken browning nitro 80 it is discountinued. I was recommended to go to this web site and see if some one can help me out getting it fixed. But I am unable to post on that site or get ahold of a moderator for that site. If one of you are a member of that site can you contact a moderator from that site and let them know my problem. I have the same screen name there as I do here.

It might be as simple as logging in, I am logged in automatically but sometimes I have to log in, Might sound stupid but worth a try..

When you registered did you get an email and activate your account by clicking on the link that was sent?

You have to activeate your account by the link in their e-mail...look in you junk folder if you have one.

You can read all the post even not being logged in, are you using the same screen name?

I understand that I can read the threads and the posts with out being logged in. But if I did not have an active account there then why does it let me log in when I go to the web site, I don't have a junk mail filter on my email account. everything that gets sent to me via email goes into one mail box. So what if I have a bunch of junk mail to clean out everyday at least then I know I won't miss any emails coming to me. Yes I used the same screen name as I have here. I will check it out again when I get home from work as I can not get to that website while at work.

The mod replied and said you should be good to go "now". Obviously there was some type of problem. Hope it works for you!

Thank you for heloing me out. I checked it yesterday night around 1130pm and I was able to post and meet some of the members there in the busy chat room. There was 20 guys in there chat room last night. I got some good info about my bow and a few recommendations on a new bow. I think I figured out which bow I am going to go with now. It is another Browning, it is the Browning Vapor, it has a 32 inch max draw length, single cam, no bow press needed to do any repairs or adjustments on it. So I can tune it and do all the work on it myself. I like that. The msrp is nice too. As it is 549. But one of the members told me he can get it for me cheaper and ship it to me for 10 bucks. So I am going to the pro shop by my house to see if they have one that I can test shoot today after work. Thanks for all your help guys.

I have the exact same problem. I set up my username (same as this one) and password, received my email to activate my account, activated my account, and now when I log in I cannot reply to anything.

Same problem for me. I registered two weeks ago but I did not get the email needed to activate (I watched for it) and still cannot post/reply. I had no problem with the auction registration/activation connected to the Archery Talk site and that follows the same process. Have sent an email to the mods but there has been no reply and no change in my status. I hear good things about the site, but my experience has not been good.

Maybe try setting up a new account under a different name and see if their system is back up and running properly.
