Bump TTT - Valentines Day's Special! - *Free Shipping to anywhere in Michigan!

Thats right! For the low, low price of $45.00 you get an authentic Lowrance "Fish Lo-K-Tor", a copy of the owners manual and a transducer, shipped to your door step!

As well, I've found a source for a sealed battery that will fit inside the battery compartment instead of using two 6V "lantern" battery's or having to carry an external 12V power source. You will need to modify the battery connections.

It the #58-GPS-1245, it cost me $10.75, $18.25 with shipping/handling. Works great!

Still have the three pictured in the classified add (*see top/first post).

Thanks for lookin! :)

I've alos heard of a few using them for fly in fishing trips, light weight and compact!

i understand some models work better than others on the "hardwater" is that true???? - Are you reffering to the Lo-K-Tor or fish/depth finders in general? The little green box's, regardless of age all work the same way. Its a simple little flasher unit that wont break the bank. ;)

i was referring to the lo k tor. i heard that the "d" models are more desirable for the ice.Maybe someone else has a better idea but Ive used them all, from the older white faced ones to the "E", IMO all seem to work about the same. I'll take a look and see, I'm pretty sure I've got a "D" left.

More on the Lo-K-Tors! Since I've gotten several PM's requesting info I thought I'd post a few pics of the one I use and how I've got it set up for ice fishing. I keep it all in plastic shell box, $6.99 on sale at Walmart or Meijers. To support the transducer simular to a Vex I got a piece of closed cell styrofoam from the craft section, cut a slit in it for the cable then wrapped in duck tape. Tied a rubber band at the top to act as a bobber stop. The transducer works best when the end is below the bottom of the ice. The battery is from Gruber,

This battery that will fit in place of the two lantern batterys. You will need to modify the battery harness to fit onto the clip ends. I did see at BPS you can get the rechargable 6V lantern batterys as well. The one I've got will go all weekend no problem. Thanks for asking, thanks for looking! And yes, the one I have is the anniversary model. :D
