gregg vannortrick,
Trapping fox and coyote in deep snow is a very difficult proposition.
If you can find a location where the wind keeps the snow blown away or a location that is sheltered from getting deep snow, then you can make some conventional dirthole sets.
Otherwise it is a matter of reading the sign and making sets accordingly. Like blind trail sets, especially where a fox or coyote is going through an opening in a fence.
Good Luck!

thanks for the in sight. i hope this cold snap breaks so i can try again . i read about using hay and think it might work. they said that they had a problem with deer and i think i will try to set one using the hay oout of the dog box. i think it will cause the deer to stay back.
