new feature for forums

Great new feature showing who's on the forums, but I show as a "guest" on the list. Just thought you'd like to know.

Right after I posted the first message and went back to the main page, I show up as myself. Fast work guy.

I think it takes it a bit before it resolves what IP address = what user. Glad you like the feature, I think its neat.

I noticed the same thing...I bet you have to post one time then it will recognise you until you wipe out the cookie...then you're have to post again before it will recognise you

Yes, it works on the same cookie that is used to work the light bulbs for new messages. I bet if you go to the root UBB URL at http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/Ultimate.cgi and hit refresh on your browser a couple of times to clear all the current light bulb, that your name pops up automatically without any posts. Hey it's not perfect, but still pretty neat, especially as a webmaster tool.
