While once upon a time I was able to ice fish a lot, these days it a few and far between. In fact, last year I didn't get out at all.
I will be headed out for the first time this year on Sunday 2/11/07 to fish somewhere between 8 mile rd up to Anchor Bay (Cotton Rd area). As it stands now, I will probably head to the areas behind Geno's (Crocker and Jefferson area). I have no ideal which area would be best so I figured to start there.
I would greatly appreciate any advice as to where guys have had some succcess fishing for Jumbo's. Heck, I be happy with a mess of 8-9 inchers.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can point me to an area that has been producing recently. I'd like to stay between 8 mile and Cotton Rd, but I'm open.
