I use a Wisker Biscuit rest for hunting. Many arrows make a little noise when drawing back. Is there any difference in the finish on CX Maxima or CX Terminator arrows? Are they the same or is one smoother? They are both 8.2 gpi and that gets me perfectly at the 6.1 grs per pound for KE.

The Maximas with the carbon finish should be quieter. The new Terminators with the weight forward would be quieter as well. The non camo maximas would be louder than what you have now.

I was thinking about the new weight forward Term's because I saw them in the new Petersen's Bowhunting.
When you say Max with the carbon finish, is that the plain black? Also, do the WF new Term's have the same finish?
I read about a trick on Arch Talk where you take the tip fuzz of a q-tip and work it into the bottom fibers of the wisker biscuit where the arrow rests to make it quieter. So far it seems like it really reduces the hiss. I want to try it in a quiet basement to compare arrows.

Bob....I have been shooting original Maximas through the Biscuit for a year now and haven't had any noise issues. (see my gallery for a little proof ;) ) I am thinking of getting some Maxima Hunters or Terminator Lite Hunters this year to bump my weight up just a little, and because I think the camo is actually a little smoother than the black shafts. Either way you go you should be okay. Both the Maxima Hunter and the Terminator Lite Hunter have the same weight forward camo on them.

Bryan- Are the XP's weight forward? I thought that was only available in the Lites.

I was a CX staff shooter last year , and I will say the CX 300's and Maxima Hunter shafts I used were noisier through a biscuit than the other brands due to the texture of the shaft . It still wasn't enough to spook any deer ,as I managed to kill 6 deer with them .
