Cotton/Salt river

Made the walk out from cotton all the way to the Salt,about 200 yards out.Got there about 3:30 and left at dusk.Got 45 perch,16 of them were 12"'s and 13"'s.The rest varied from 9"-10"'ers.At first they wanted the #2 jiggin rap in firetiger tipped with a red jensen egg.Later on they didnt hit anything except a green,yellow teardrop tipped with a spike.Steady action all afternoon.Only drilled about 6 holes in all,all at the edge of weed beds.There pretty easy to find with the clear ice.DNR was at the ramp of cotton as i was going out and checking everyone coming in.One of the better days as far as quanity in a while.We need more parking at Cotton thats for sure.
