Any one been fishing Erie marina or any of the canals in gibralter. Not looking for exact spots just wondering if anyone has been catching anything. Have nothing to do tomm and might venture out for a bit.
I'll post where and how I did tomm night.

You might try Airport Bay, I hear they are catching some perch in there and I know the canals are walkable to get out there. The guys at Bottom Line bait shop will give you some good info, that's where I get my bait and they are always willing to share info.

I was wondering the same.Jim said he has herd bout the guys doing good at airport but there is limited parking.I want to go try one of the marinas in Wyandotte today.I will post and let you guys know how I do.Good luck be SAFE!!!!

Went out to airport bay this morning 8-12:30 nothing, jumped around and still nothing. Most of the guys out there were saying the same, only a few guys had any at all. Parking is limited but if you get there early enough you should be able to get a spot. Good luck

Al, what was the water clarity like? I heard last week it was pretty cloudy. Hoping it is clear for this weekend. Were you fishing out towards the mouth or back in the bay a bit? Thanks

Water clarity was pretty clear. We started close to the middle of the bay, and then moved in shallower, towards the airport.

Al, forgot to ask how the ice was. Were there people near the mouth of the bay?
Are you going to be fishing there at all this weekend? I'm planning on going out both mornings, I'll be in a Dark Blue Shappell 3000, also have my radio on me and on channel 7-0, if you want give a shout and I'll let you know if I'm catching anything and where I'm at.

Jim, the ice was a good 6-7 pretty clear with a little snow on it. Yes, a couple of guys were by the mouth, but the eeened to be moving quite a bit so. I went to Bresy bay today with nothing and I'm not sure if i'm going to go to airport or st. clair. The wife wants to go so I'll see what happens. If I'm out the i'll be on a bucket or a pop up deer blind. I'll hit u up on the radio if i'm out there.
