I was out there last Saturday. Fish weren't as big as i would like but I did manage to clean 50 perch between 7 and 10 inches. They were in 5 FOW chasing minnows.

how clear was the water and did you go straight out or right or left

The water was pretty clear in most spots to the bottom in 6 feet of water. I would start straight out from the pier and work my way to the left. The water will get a little deeper and you will find some nice weed beds in there. If you go right (south) it gets shallower and harder to stay on the fish. Also, the fish move around in this area alot, so keep your eyes open. If everyone is in a shanty and you can't see who is catching fish, move every 10 minutes if you aren't on em... when you find them stay. They turned off close to 10 am last week. With the wind and more people fishing this weekend, get an early start. let me know how you do.
