Can someone please give me the name and possibly the phone # of some bait shops in the area of selfridge. I'm not looking for anyones secret spots, but my dad has been bugging me to make the trip down and give lsc a try. I think the plan has come togather for Sunday, and some general info would be very much appreciated, I just don't want to be flying blind if you know what I mean:confused: Thanks in advance
someone will know the name its right next to the dnr site.only thing i always try to do on the weekends is stay away from the crowds.if everyone is out to the left go right.good luck. get some red beads and at least try it. everyone has been raving about the red beads.

I'm pretty sure it's Selfridge Bait and Tackle, there's another place on 23 Mile Rd, I think it's the first light east of I-94, used to be Angler and Archers I think. I'm not sure if the Bridge is still open or not, just north of 21 Mile on Jefferson.
Hope that helped.

There have been alot of reports of the Cotton Rd area being hot lately. Give it a try, and as mentioned stay away from the crowds. Let us know how you do or dont do..... Good Luck

As others have mentioned the closest is Selfrige Bait and Tackle at M59 and Jefferson. If you go north of Jefferson to Cotton Road you will pass "The Bridge" on the West (where I usually buy bait, nice guy tells you where the fish are), Cotton Raod Market also sells bait.

Thanks again for the help guys, we ended up starting by the mouth of the salt and fishing our way back to cotton. The best fish we found were about halfway in between. Best bait was a marmooshka with two mousies.
