I looked from the marina yesterday and saw people and shanties out there but I did not see any ATV's. I really want to try it Friday after work. But I am going to walk it. Was out there a couple a years ago on my snowmobile and while sitting in my shanty saw two ATV's go through. The ice was about 5 to 6 inches but obviously had some weak spots. Be real careful. Let me know how it goes.

just got back a friend dropped his ATV front wheels through a thin spot looked like a air pocket. no big deal except him and his two drunk friends could not get it out , took the neighbor ,got the ATV out and drove the drunks home .can't stand a drunk since I quit drinking

it will get you every time. i drink about a case of beer a year. i never drink on the soft/hard water. you make bad decisions when your drunk.you get careless and accedents happen. ive seen some guys do some crazy stuff out there when they had the drunk confidence going.

I did not fish I just went up to retrieve the 3 drunks. they had 2 small eyes and several small perch I did not get there until after dark. saw some lanterns out on the Ice and a couple snowmobiles running around
I am glad they called they were in no shape to drive or be on the ice,
