I have a Mr Heater that I've use once last week, and in my Clam Voyager. I think I need to upgrade to the double burner one... I think, I would sell it for $70, if interested PM me.. I had a older one in my Clam Guide and it was warm, but I think the new shanty is alittle to much for it?

I'm pretty sure you can get a new mr. heater for $50. Does it come with the propane tank also?

big daddy, if your shanty is that big you should look at the mr. heater that mounts on top of a 20# tank. that baby will burn it up in there. i have the double burner they go through the little bottles fast on high.

I use the Mr Heat that ya screw right to the tank, the round type Mr Heater. I also have a Voyager and it seemed to get plenty hot in there.

I roll up a small piece of carpet and stow it in the sled and when I am set up I just unroll it and use it so my feet are off the ice. Thats the only down fall to the trap type shantys. But none the less I was very comfortable.

Hey laker, what did ya pay for the Heater/Cooker type set up ??? Gunna have the kids out next weekend and would be nice to warm up a lil lunch...

Regular price is $40.00some bucks.....I believe you can find the on sale for 30.00 some though....I like them better because you get more heat towards your feet and the option on dinner!!;) I have a piece of rubber from a truck bedliner I put out for my feet!!
