Went out yesterday on the canal behind the national city bank, where the newer condo's sit. My 2 sons and I did fairly well. We caught 8 perch (9-11 inches), 7 largemouth, and 1 23 inch pike. We got checked by the DNR. Ice is about 10 inches in the canal but the mouth of it was broke up a little. You can still walk in there though.
