perch 2/6/07--Cotton area

Hi all--

did very well on perch yesterday and day before, North of Cotton Rd.

practically out my back door :)

got my limit 8-10's a couple 11's mixed in, water was clear so I was able to keep the jig away from the dinks. I was in 5 ft of water using a yellow caterpillar shaped jig and minnow head.

fish in the hole pretty much all the time. I fished 3p- almost dark.

I had a great time, taking my dad out this AM.

Sorry the pic is sooo... big, still learning this photo thing, I was ~ 1/4 mile from shore, guessing on distance but approx.

I moved a couple of times day before to find them, once I did--they were in like an army

I take my quad out, I live on Salt so it is a nice drive for me, I was all over the bay, I have a heavy Artic cat 400, although I punched a couple holes in on spot a little far out--3 inches of ice, 4 ft from my quad, I got back on the quad and rode in towards shore-- guess it was OK but I am not too brave, bu myself

I wish I had a girlfriend...one that could fish like ER could be considered greedy.
