well they cancled my sons school again due to extream cold so i am gonna wake him up at 6 and head out to coton and head north in the corner since my other spot died out anyone know water clairity? is it worth brining the spear will post how we do

Was out there friday morning and water seemed to be fairly clear out about 300 yds from the mouth of the salt r., went out not as far sun. morning and couldnt see a foot down water was dirty. fishing was pretty decent.

went out at sang base. notting . had to move around and finally found some. ended up with 20 on the ice. 6 keepers.water was clear could see the bottom in 7 feet of water.

What did you do with the other 14 on the ice? Why would they be on ice if they weren't decent size? If you just meant pulled 20 out of the hole and threw 14 dinks back then excuse me. :confused:

those1971 It's sad to taint a good report. If you have a question like that ask him by PM. I use 20 in the shanty but It doesn't mean I laid them in the shanty. Everyone wants to be the INTERNET police. :rolleyes:

just got a call that my 2 buddies killed the jumbos there today.t--y usually uses minnows on small jigs. they fish either very close to shore in the weed pockets or on the side of the reeds near the island. 5-6 f.o.w. my guess with the wind is about 60 yards out. to the left of the access. they have a spot there that has been very kind over the years. its a bunch of sandy holes in the weeds. the jumbos will stack up there . thats all for today.
