went out with 6 guys from the ramp on jefferson and nailed the jumbos me and my bro kept 50 and about the same for the rest ofthe guys :) i found that they hit on a glow jig with a minnow and a spike on tip of hook .wind was bad but walk in hurt:evilsmile

Nice Job. I was tryin to tell a guy the same thing on another forum, but no one wants to listen. Glow jig and everything. Guess thats to bad for him more Jumbo's for us.:lol:

I can agree the wind was brutal on the walk in.
There were several buckets and cushions flying by.
I ended up with 16 for 3 hours of fishing.
Here is what worked for me.
1) Green/White glow with a waxworm
2) White/Pearl Moon jig with a red anise egg.

that's why Ficious jigs works so good (he makes them and is a member of our site) He used a super glow in all sizes and colors. They do make a difference.

Yeah I dont get it. Some guys just refuse to try something different, the water has been cloudy just about every where. The GID jigs are the only way to go. If you told guys to use them at night they wouldnt think twice.
On second thought, never mind what I just said.
Guys the GID jigs dont work dont use them.
They suck.
Throw them away.
Continue using all of the same tricks you've been using for years!

Anything that glows in low light/cloudy water condidtions will only improve your chances...............;)
