Looking to get some of these for my carbon arrows. thinking of using the 2" vanes instead of 4". What is the difference between them(besides the obvious)?

The main difference people use the 2" instead of the 4" is for a flatter trajectory. The 2" are lighter than the 4". But it has always been known that the longer the vane the more forgiving your shooting should be.

longer vanes were needed to stabilize fixed wing broadheads, but with some of the advancements in vane design thats not as true anymore. THe blazers for example are 2" and will stabilize just about any broadhead. The 2" quickspins should provide the same stability. In my experience the Quickspins were NOT very durable and didn't provide any advantage over my 4" vanes. I dont see the extra expense as being worth it.

I prefer the Duravanes in 4" over the Blazers myself. Only drawback I can claim is the ripple that occurs through a Biscuit. And that does not effect the flight at all. I still get more than enough FOC and they have a lower profile so I can get less tension on my cables without having to worry about clearance.

All I shoot is the Quick spins! Great vains! I have used all the sizes. They all have there place. I shoot the 4 inchers for spots and the 2.25s for deer and the 3 and somethings for Turkeys!!!
They will wrinkled easy, If you dont take care off your arrows, and miss the targets and shoot through the targets . I wouldnt recommend shooting them through a WB rest eather.
