I was at the hunting time expo today (Birch Run) and was shopping for a new bow. Bought a new 06 Bowtech Old Glory. Man was this a smooth drawing quiet shooting bow. I have been shooting a lot of bows the last year and this one was as nice as any. I had a problem spending the money on a high end bow but got it for $500 out the door so it's probably a fair price for last years model bow. Any one else shoot this bow?

I need to replace my old Browning Boss Mantis - seen its better days. Checked out Scupbach's and had sticker shock galore. OMG - the better bows are all $600 with nothing on them! So, your $500 price was probably pretty good indeed. But - what did it cost you after buying the accessories, I.E. rest, sights etc.? Or, are you swapping from your old bow?

I'm swapping out the old stuff. Actually the accessories on my old bow are up to date. Just had a hard time spending the money for the bow. I guess if this one last me another 20 years it'll be worth it.:)
