2 of us fished Fri nite out at the mouth. It started as a fishing trip and became a battle just to stay-out until dark. It was wicked cold with that wind! Well, we made it but had nothing to show. Marked a couple that looked for awhile then left. No hits. New sections of ice were 8-10" in some spots then 3-4" in others?

Were you out by the light standard, or off by delta sailing school? Going monday morning.

Where abouts? How deep of water? Thinking of walking out monday until I get tired then sitting out day maybe with son who has day off school. Somewhere twards island, on west side of channel. If not there, then Linwood area depending on ice conditions.

I agree with Bulletproof. We were out 45 mins before the sun came up. I think Bulletproof started in about 15 feet of water and I was in 14 ft. We had guys all the way out to the 30 ft I believe. I think we took a couple 10 or 11 inch walleye in about 3 hours. I only marked 3 or 4 fish on all morning.--Oh-parked by the sailing school

we were in 20-25 fow and we managed 2 keepers in 2 hrs or so but the action was constant--i think if we might of tried a little move

I'm hoping to head out for my first time friday and this weekend as well, from what i've heard from my uncle and what not and from this site as well, there is a lot of small ones being caught, I told him, id rather catch 20 small 'eyes than stay at home and watch other people catch fish on tv.
