Looking to go out this weekend but need to decide on where. Does anyone have any reports for ice conditions and fishing in the howell/brighton area. Woodland, Chemung, chilson pond, etc.

Every lake I have been on in the livingston area has been safe. solid 5-7 inches of solid ice. besides the one pond i was on 3" of ice with 2" slush on top :yikes:
I didnt fish any lakes in the brighton rec area but i talked to a guy and his son in the parkin lot of Shenawga(sp) and they said there was a solid 5+" and this was 3 days ago.
