anybody ever fish cedar lake in van buren county, how the fishing.

Just got back from there. Fishing is usually pretty good. Bite doesn't go until 9-10am. Only got 8 today, but they are all nice gills (2 over 9"). Some of the other fellas out there nearly got a limit, but the cold and wind sent most of us packing.

Was fishing out in front of the public access (NW corner of the lake), and it is shallow in there. Never ventured out into the deep water. Ice was about 4" total, with a small layer of slush in the middle. With the temps we ahve had for the past 2 days, it should be locked up pretty good now.
