state park ice blow out?

looking at the modis sattalite shot the ice might have blown out again.
I hope what I am seeing is not real.

Looks like its going for a ride to me. Wont be any better with the high winds forecasted for the next few days either. wsw winds @ 20-30 mph gusts means no ice!:mad:

Heard it was a good trip last nite out near Blackhole with fish
but the return this a.m. found open water in the headlites...

how did you get the current satellite shot of bay city? I went on the modis website but could not figure out where to go

I'd bet the cold snap coming is going to have winds from the northerly direction for quite a few days. Should blow it back together and freeze it up.

Getting pretty late in the season to come back and form safe ice, even with the cold blast coming. Better get on the river before that takes a crap on us too.:sad:
