Had picked up empty cylinders in the marina last week, empty waxworm containers also. Why can't they leave some good stuff.:dizzy:

I can't figure this out. Someone can take a 12 pack of FULL CANS onto the ice with them, but can't take the EMPTIES back with them.

steelymike, I hope you use that $1.20 to get yourself a cold one.

Your right, you'd never hear anyone complain about picking up a rod & reel, tackle box, auger or Vex!

Speaking of leaving good stuff, I un-intentionally left the cover from my 7 inch laser auger on the ice (actually it fell off during my ride in at Mud Creek) if anyone rescued it or has a extra? one that I can purchase for a nominal fee PM me. Thanks, I also agree that the slobs need to pick it up!!!

yes, its too bad those guys leave their 1 pound fuel cans on the river. i pick them up an refill them. so thanks for the emptys. i now got over 20 one pounders full for the ice season. not all of them were found on the ice but i bet half of them were. also wish you would leave the little white caps for the tanks too.

if you see them litter report them .the DNR will be happy to ticket them..if those that litter know that they might get turned in they may think twice about doing it.we have the same problem along the Ausable in the summer with canoers..  we have some real slobs in michigan

I think the reports on here have helped out a bit near independence bridge, we were close to the last people to leave and there was only 1 beer can laying on the ice that we found. Glad to see the improvement.

im glad it helped its a cool place to fish and i also enjoy talking to otheres when im out there and thought it would be good to have anglers chatting about it before it gets out of hand im 110 miles from there and i enjoy it just think the river should be respected if u use it and if u see it, it takes little effort to throw it in your sled just makes the place better then u found it

i know places that u used to be able to park by lake st clair that u cant any more because of home owners being ticked off about the trash left behind
so they give parking tickets out cant say i blame them

good luck out there and be safe

I found a beer can today--looks like it come from some hot rod pie-eyed and scooting down the river
