Has anyone ran into good enough ice to venture that far?

I really doubt it. I just heard a snowmobile went through out by the state park. I would really like to get out by the blackhole if they are.
Maybe after the cold temps this weekend, we will get enough ice.

I went off Erickson last Monday and it was not very safe then.

I will be going out tommorrow and check some ice thickness around state park. I am hopping all of that ice that was 2 inches last sun. will be 5 to 6 tommorow.
the area that I was fishing just a little east of there is making close to a inch per day.

nobody is going to the black hole unless they have a air boat
