I would like to place a note that i sent them a deer hide for hair on tanning, due to what i will decribe as very inferior work i will never send then anything else and need to seruoisly discuss this with the trapper who gave me thier info,,,, this hide was to be gift to my brother in tenn. as was his first deer on "home property" in almost 20 years, i am sick thinking about it.

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience getting your trophy deer hide tanned.
I have had several deer and an elk hide tanned by Moyle Mink Tannery and they all came back in excellent condition.
So I can personally recommend the work that they do.
Just a note: Even the best tannery can not compensate for slippage of hair or fur that will occur if the hide or pelt is not properly fleshed and dried before it is sent to be tanned.
It is critical that a deer hide be heavily salted or fleshed and dried, if you expect to have a good result from a hair on tanning.

i had 3 fox a coyote and a racoon done at USA Foxx last year all with good results. I went with them again this year. but i do know other guys that use moyles as well. sorry to hear about your deer hide
