brought home 60 fish. Caught I dont know how many, my arms are sore so I bet I caught a trillion :D

Lots of little guys, had to throw a lot back probably 20 little ones to 1 decent fish, at least it seemed. I was all over Cook's Bay, East side and West side. Talked to lots of guys, same story for all. CO checked me and he said same thing all over, lots of small fish.
I fished 12ft - 35ft and every where in between, did my best if you call it best in 20 ft.

Ice is thick all over 8-10 inches, and it was very cold--single digits at night.

I met a Canadian guy over there- who said "you are ERnurse arent you?" Told me that being a young lady out there by myself was a dead give away-:p Said he never seen a woman out ice fishing by herself in his 30 years on Lake Simcoe--guess I'm proud to be an original :D

thats my report-

It takes a special person to be a ER nurse. If you can handle that you can do anything ;) ;) ;)

Good going! A large group of locals just came back last weekend. They got limits, but I don't know where they fished. Like you, they had smaller Perch. I am going at the end of Feb. I hope the "pigs" are feeding by then.

Where's a good place to stay on Cooks Bay? We always stay around Jackson Point or Pefferlaw.
