My wife is forcing me down to Petoskey this weekend. I figured I'd use the opportunity to shop for bows. Anyone recommend a good pro shop down that way with an indoor range. I know abou Jay's in gaylord.

I found this on the internet not sure if they have an indoor shooting facility. I am sure if they do not they will know someone in the area.

If you do find out they have indoor facilities or they have refered you somewhere else for shooting spots, 3d, or whatever please let me know in the Indoor Facilities Throughout Michigan Sticky. I am trying to come up with a list that archers can go to and get these sort of questions answered. I would call before I go if you get a chance. Good Luck!

Just an fyi, the Jays in Gaylord is not the Jays in Clare bow wise,,,,, I would not recomend Gaylord if looking for bows. Clare location is great I guess but Gaylord I found was lacking in the know how department. There was a small bow shop in waters on otsego road that had a range and good service.

The Archey Shop in Waters, just south of Gaylord on old US 27 is awesome. The owner, Norm is very knowledgable and friendly. They have a very good indoor range also. I do all my business here and strongly recommend it.

There is a place in downtown Indian River I have heard a lot of good things about. I believe he is a Mathews dealer. My camp neighbor has done business with him and seems to like him. It is on your way into Petoskey and less than a mile out of your way. When you get off I-75 turn right at the light where the road T's (north) and it is about 1/2 mile down on your left (west).

If I leave the UP I prefer to go north or west. :)

It's all in the perspective, eh?
FWIW - the last time I was in Jay's in Gaylord, they were clearing out some '06's at very good prices.
