I posted a video on how to fillet a pike back in i want to say september. I'm sure with a quick search you could find it.

Cleaning pike is in my oppionon way over rated. The Y bone is out in 2 simple cuts down the fillet and then it is prolley my favorite fish to eat:D Good Stuff!

The five fillet method is the only way to go, no pike, big or small is worth fishing through y-bones to eat.....once out, the pike is on par with any fish in the great lakes I think

Thank you very much for that link. I have suffered with Y bones for too many years. I agree with many, pike is some of the best eating around. Hopefully I will be trying this new method (for me) this weekend.....

The original link was truncated so that it would appear in the window of the msg. This is a copy of the text in the msg so the link will not work. Does anyone have the link to the movie and not the YouTube? Or, have a link back to the msg from September that was discussed?
