In past years, have done OK for crappie and small gills. Have heard there are good size perch, but haven't found them. I usuallyfish along th enorth shore, west of the park area.

Hey Dave,
My buddy and I fished park lake for the first time last year and got about 35-40 perch (6-8") in that area you're talking about. We were fishing in 4-5 ft. of water. It was a surpise for us because I never thought that lake had anything worth fishing for.
PM me if you go out there Dave.......I'd like to learn more about that lake.

Ill be heading out there here in a while only fished it once before and got small gills and a few perch but Im going to try it again. How much ice is there? PM me if you have suggestions for that lake.

i used to kill the specks out there a couple years ago when i was at state. vexilar was the key.

I made it out and caught a bunch of small gills and a few perch. Just used waxworms on tear drops, the best color seemed to be orange with silver glitter. I fished 6-12 foot of water. Im going to go again soon for crappie at dark in deeper water.

I am gonna head out there today. Anyone headed out?

I caught maybe 10 perch 4 were keepers. I caught 4 crappie 1 was over 8 inches. I also caught one gill. It was not for the weak out there today. There were two guys out on buckets fishing when I got there but they didn't last long. I got the crappie after 6pm on minnows and the perch hit on minnows and spikes. Hope this helps. I was also straight out from the boat ramp about 250 yards.
