I'm looking for a cheap rod under $100. If that's too cheap, I understand. I'll just save up some money.

To get a decent centerpin rod you will probably be looking at a little more. Check out Okumas website as well as Raven's. I think they have a few that are not too far out of your price range. They come already tied as well.

Are you talking just blank or 100.00 for the blank+components? If it's the whole rod, then you stand a better chance purchasing a brand like what quest suggests. Once in a while, you can find Rainshadow Blanks on sale for anywhere for 50-75 dollar range, but with cork and decent guides you still are looking at over 100.00

Might check Netcrafts website. They sell blanks, seats, guides and all the related equipment. Dont know about pin blanks but if someone makes them-they will sell them.

Get yourself a blank and do your own. I have rewound a couple of rods since Christmas and want to do my old (1960s) rod in the next few weeks.
The blank is white and I think it will be patriotic-red and blue windings.
