It's hard to believe no one has info on ice fishing rainbows on either lake. Maybe it's just a tightly guarded secret. I am not a one way poster/all take, no give. If you look at my posts about walleye, you will see I am supplying lots of useful info. I'm only looking for a once or twice a winter adventure, and will keep any info confidental. A private message would be great, and I'll share all I know about those walleye. Thanks.

I have never fished either of those lakes, but I have been trying to fish a different lake in NLP that is stocked with rainbows annually. I have not had any luck at all catching them yet, and only seen one on the camera. From what I have seen there are not many people that ice fish for Bow's. So you might not get many responses.
Locally they are aggressive and more often than not suspended in deep water, very helpful to have a flasher. Not so much the 'what' as the where, they'll hit almost anything tipped with meat: jigging raps, tdrops, spoons, etc. I've had best luck with wigglers and smallish minnows.
