Anybody fish Rogers Pond in the winter time?

I've seen people fish it by the landing for specks but you have to watch the ice because it is a river and you should go with someone who knows the area.

I was in Franks Sporting Goods in Morley a few weeks ago and the guy there told me people occasionally catch some nice channel cats through the ice there. Don't hear of that very often.
