I have a quick question. If the arrow kicks right (nock right) on a right handed bow, does that mean the arrow is too stiff.? I am getting conflicting info from a couple of sources. I shoot a XI Legend about 66lb or 70 lb (again 2 different shops tested it) and have a 30-31" draw. I am looking to switch over to carbons, thinking Gold Tip Hunters. Thanks, Scott.

It could be a couple of things:
1st check and make sure bow is in spec: ATA, BH
then check your cam timimg and idler lean....
Next try walk back tuning to make sure you rest is center shot...
if these check out then you most likely have to test different spine arrows...
Noone can say for sure wether a right or left tear is either too stiff or not stiff enough, An experienced tuner can only make an educated assumption based on his experience from the way he specifically tunes. Everyone does things a little different.
The best thing to do is buy one or two arrows of the next spine up and down and test threw paper until you get the results you want... You just gotta keep experimenting until you get it all worked out... There are no hard fast rules that are for certain in tuning bows...Pro shops do not have the time to fine tune your bow, they usually just get it close and you have to make the fine adjustments...
Hope this helps

If you haven't seen this yet you may want to read it.

That web site summed it all up.. I've done a lot of tuning and one thing that most people overlook - and is just as important as anyting else is Front of Center balance (FOC).

follow the tips on that site and you will eliminate almost every variable to optimize flight and accuracy.
