Headed out to Lake Fenton Sunday and got nothing along with my buddy. We didn't really see anybody catching anything there.
We tried a local lake in Waterford and my buddy got a nice size bass that went back in the hole to wait for summer.
I set up a second pole on a stand and after an hour I noticed that the pole was completely missing. I spent the rest of the afternoon jigging for my pole. Half a shiner was left on the hook. Wish I would have saw that, we have some nice sized fish in that lake and to do what it did, I would have to assume it was something real nice.
When I finally did see some fish under the ice the snowmobiles decided to buzz the shanty a few times.:rant:
Oh well, just nice to finally be out there. Guess I'll try again this weekend.
