I just wanted to let everyone know that tomamrow, Tuesday January 30th, is the January 2007 General Membership meeting for the Detroit Area Steelheaders. Meetings are held at 7:30PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Chicago Rd(13 Mile Rd) between Van Dyke and Mound, in Warren Michigan across from the GM Tech Center.
This months meeting will feature Lance Valantine. Lance is well known as one of the states top pro walleye fisherman, guides, and topic speakers. Lance will be doing an extensive presentation on getting maximum performance from your sonar. Bring your pencil and paper. I can tell you that I have personally seen this presentation before, and it is very well presented, and extremely applicable back on the boat. There will also be the regular monthly fishing reports and discussion, raffles, and general camaraderie.
The club is a great way to meet other fisherman from the area. We have trolling tournaments and club outings throughout the year, and monthly meetings with guest speakers and "How-To" seminars.
You DO NOT have to be a member to attend the meetings. Guests are always welcome. Hope to see some new faces in attendance. Come introduce yourself.
